Simgot EW300: why one spec sheet lists two sensitivity numbers
Architecture snapshot — Good for: buyers who want to compare three driver technologies and are willing to choose a nozzle before judging the numbers. Watch for: 121 and 119dB/Vrms describe different nozzle configurations, not one fixed sensitivity.
Three driver types in one shell, and what the PZT element adds
Tribrid means three transduction principles sharing one housing. The 10mm dynamic handles low frequencies through air movement, the 6mm planar drives a flat diaphragm across a magnet array for the midrange, and the PZT element is piezoelectric — a ceramic that flexes under voltage, used here for the top octaves. Each type has a different natural impedance curve, so the 28Ω ±15% figure is a nominal value at 1kHz rather than a flat load. The ±15% tolerance is wide enough that two units from the same batch can measure noticeably apart.
Choose EW300 for architecture; compare KUNTEN for simplicity
Shortlist EW300 if the appeal is its 10mm dynamic + 6mm planar + PZT architecture and interchangeable nozzles. Decide which nozzle you will use before comparing sensitivity or source matching, because the published 121 and 119dB/Vrms values belong to different configurations. For a lower price-band counterpoint, compare it with GK KUNTEN: one 10mm dynamic, 43Ω, 109dB/mW and no claim of similar tuning. That comparison isolates the trade-off between a tribrid system and a simpler single-driver design.
Sources and specification limits
GK AudioLab publishes GK product information. Comparisons involving GK models are brand-authored; source specifications are not independent listening tests.

Retailer listing: Linsoul · Source checked:
EW300 lists 121dB/Vrms for the silver/red nozzle and 119dB/Vrms for the gold/purple nozzle at 1kHz. Match the nozzle and edition when comparing; the two figures are not a tolerance range.
— means the inspected source does not establish a reliable value.
